A group tour puts you on a set route with strangers on a fixed schedule, usually priced per person. A private tour is your party only — your wineries, your pace, your music — priced by the hour for the whole group, which is often cheaper for 4 or more people.
Can you build a fully custom itinerary?
Yes, that’s our specialty. Tell us your tastes and budget and we’ll draft a route — cult cabernet houses, organic small producers, caves and view terraces, or a mix. You approve it before the day.
How far in advance should we book a private wine tour?
Two to three weeks for weekends, and a month or more for harvest season (August–October) and bachelorette-heavy months (May–July). Midweek tours can often be arranged with a few days’ notice.
Do private tours include tasting fees?
Tasting fees are paid directly to the wineries so you never pay a markup on them. Typical Napa tastings run $40–$125 per person; we’ll balance the route so the day fits your budget.
